The Goethe-Institut promotes the German language and culture with new and refreshing courses as well as educational and cultural offerings. In order to do this, we rely on our extensive experience and trusted partnerships around the world. The same is true in Korea, where the Goethe-Institut was founded in 1968 and can now look back over 50 years of German-Korean cultural work.

Moderator Ji-sun Park PRODUCER, PRODUCER GROUP DOT

Park Jisun is a creative producer, researcher, and arts policy advisor. Over for 20 years, she has been working without boundaries of genre, producing works, planning festival, initiating international residency and international network such as APP (Asian Produces Platform), CAN (Circus Asian Network).
Recently she has begun new explorations with artists on various subjects including cities, boundaries, technology and arts. She has been initiating collaboration between artists and non-artists to explore the contemporariness of the arts.

SpeakerChristoph GurkDIRECTOR AND DRAMATURG, MÜNCHNER KAMMERSPIELE

Christoph Gurk, born in Ratingen in 1962, studied German Philology, Modern German Literature and Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. He was editor-in-chief at the magazine “Spex”, before he moved from journalistic to curatorial work. After that he worked as a curator and project dramaturg at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. From 2009 to 2015 he was Curator and Dramaturg at HAU Hebbel am Ufer. Since 2015 he is a member of the artistic team at Münchner Kammerspiele.

SpeakerByung-jun Kwon Media artist

Byungjun Kwon develops and utilizes new musical instruments and stage equipment for new media performances that encompass music, theater, and visual art. He is also expanding his field of activity as a hardware researcher and media artist based on sound.

SpeakerE-Jan TanCo-founder and creative producer, Toccata Studio

Tan E-Jan, co-founder and creative producer of Toccata Studio from Malaysia. E-Jan’s multidisciplinary contemporary productions were invited to SEA Arts Festival (U.K.), PAMS and Beseto Festival (South Korea), Salihara Performing Arts Festival (Indonesia), ATYA Festival (Japan), WSD Festival (Taiwan), Bangkok Theatre Festival (Thailand). In 2015, she was invited by Ministry of Culture, France to attend cultural seminar in Paris and Nantes, IETM Satellite meeting in South Korea. Awarded twice global fellowship of ISPA in New York City, United States. Currently a steering committee of Asian Producers’ Platform and CEO of INXO Foundation.

SpeakerYukio Nitta Independent Producer, TPAM Exchange Coordinator

Born in Tokyo Japan, Yukio Nitta graduated from MA in Graduate Institute of Arts Administration and Management, Taipei National University of the Arts. He is an independent producer with extensive experiences in international collaborations.
He ventured into contemporary theatre, Taiwanese Opera, contemporary dance, tech art, street dance and pop music. In the past few years, he has worked with performance groups including Guling Street Avant-garde Theatre, YiLab, Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group and Huang Yi Studio+ and festival including Kuandu Arts Festival, Taipei Arts Festival, Taipei Fringe Festival and TPAM – Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama.
